ABIS – Standard Warranty Policy
Standard Limited Warranty
This documents sets out the standard ABIS warranty policy for projectors and projectors components made by ABIS Brand. Our partnered retailers may give you warranty based on their policy. We hold no responsibility for your products in case the retailer holding the warranty policy directly within their terms and condition or community. Your retailer may give you warranty based on their terms for up to 1 years to 5 years. Warranty policies must be checked with the retailers directly before or after your purchase. Your return and refund policies are held by our retailers or resellers directly. If you are buying from a website or online shop, any resellers are committed to have a minimum of 7 days money back guarantee for any brand new items under distance selling law. Your retailer will have more information about this.
Warranty Period – Product to Product
ABIS holds own warranty period and policies in place for any ABIS products or equipments bought from any certified resellers. When you purchase an ABIS product or components, you are automatically protected by ABIS warranty period. This warranty is only valid when a item is bought from a retailer or reseller registered and certified by us. Our warranty period and terms apply to products branded with ABIS logo only. ABIS projectors and LED lamps have full 12 months warranty. ABIS LED lamps, panels and other products may have various lengths of warranty period. Please speak to your retailer for more details.
Warranty period is applied from the date of purchase. If there has been a repair or replacement for the original item, the warranty period will not include an extension.
All software is provided by ABIS unless expressly stated in the accompanying documentation.
Customers are advised to make back-up copies of all software and/or data sent to or accompanying products sent to ABIS. ABIS is not responsible for any damage to or lose of any programmes, data or other information stored on any media or any part of the equipment which may be returned for service under this warranty.
Warranty Claims & Validation
We will validate every warranty through visual, mechanical and functional testing. We need your proof of purchase from one of our registered and certified resellers who will then be contacted to authorize the proof of purchase. The warranty period must be agreed as mentioned above. We will accept a receipt of payment including the proof of payment to the retailer after purchase. We do not accept invoices as proof of purchased as invoices are genuinely created for trade partners only, but not created for the final consumers.
The following are excluded from warranty:
> Damages caused by:
> acts of God or any reason beyond ABIS reasonable control;
> misuse, including (but not limited to) failure to use the equipment for its normal purpose in accordance with ABIS’s instructions
> improper operation or maintenance of the equipment;
> connection to improper power supply;
> attempted repair by anyone other than a proper authorized ABIS service agent;
> use of the equipment in conjunction with third party accessories, products or ancillary peripheral equipment.
> Equipment where the manufacturer’s serial number has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible.
> Equipment which has been adjusted or adapted without ABIS’s prior written consent, including (but not limited to):
> upgrading the equipment beyond specifications or feature described in the instruction or manual, or
> modifications to the equipment to conform it to national or local technical or safety standards in countries other than those for which the equipment was
specifically designed and manufactured.
> Consumable parts.
> Normal wear or tear of parts, as defined by ABIS; for example in service manuals, unless there is evidence of manufacturing defect.
> Damages or loss to any software programs, data or removal storage media.
> Costs associated with de-installation, re-installation or integration into a system.
> Any additional exclusions which may apply to specific products or product types the details of which are published on www.projectorsite.co.uk
The express warranty above shall be the full extent of ABIS’s liability. Accordingly, ABIS disclaims all other liability for loss or damage howsoever caused (except for death or personal injury resulting from proved negligence) arising out of the purchase, possession, sale or use of the equipment and all other terms, conditions and warranties express or implied arising out of trade usage or otherwise are hereby excluded.
In no event shall ABIS be liable for any special, incidental consequential damages including, but not limited to the infringement of any intellectual property rights, delays or inaccurate information or advice. Notwithstanding the foregoing the customer’s statutory rights (if any) are not affected.
No person including other distributor, dealer, agent or representative of ABIS is authorized to assume for ABIS any liability on its behalf or in its name.
The purchaser is not entitled to rely on any representations made either orally or in writing by or on behalf of ABIS save for those made fraudently.
The purchaser relies entirely on its own skill and judgement in determining the fitness of any item of equipment for any particular purpose.
